Assassin's Creed Reveals Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season

In a bizarre crossover event that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing free extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A strange encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of forbidden practices and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the darkness." The narrative presents a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a hidden cult.

The adventure centers on "peculiar tests and a monstrous foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The preview showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Additional Features

Players who successfully complete the quest will acquire an unique katana in addition to multiple objects secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
